GTA San Andreas VR announced for the Oculus Quest 2

GTA San Andreas VR will see the light of day and it will be on the Oculus Quest 2. The famous Rockstar game will have the right to a virtual reality version. It’s quite unexpected, no particular rumor had announced such a project.

GTA San Andreas is coming to virtual reality

Just before announcing the company name change with Facebook that comes Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, the group’s CEO, said that GTA San Andreas VR is like “An entirely new way of discovering this iconic open world in virtual reality”. He added that he “This is a multi-year project and we can’t wait to show you more”.

We will have to wait because there is no other information concerning GTA San Andreas VR on the Oculus Quest 2. Neither Facebook nor Rockstar have shared images, videos, prices or a release date. We don’t even know if the title will arrive by the end of 2021 or if it will have to wait even longer. The fact that no release date is announced today is not necessarily good news.

In the meantime, this is the second time that GTA San Andreas made a name for himself in the space of a few weeks. The title will effectively return next month alongside GTA 3 and GTA Vice City in GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Collection. It will be with a remastered version. One wonders if it will be the same version in virtual reality.
