Google’s Pixel 6 series has display issues
The Pixel 6 series was released just a few weeks ago. The first owners already received their smartphones and almost immediately began to flood the Internet with problems. They mainly concern the display – green tint, second hole, flashing. Google is aware of the issues and is working to resolve them. The report was brought by the GSMAren portal.
Pixel 6 and its display problems
Even after the performance, I personally thought about whether it will go without hardware problems this year. The answer came quickly – it won’t work. Year after year, we write about the fact that Google’s Pixel phones have hardware problems – some will be resolved by Google in exchange, others by software (update). The situation is repeated this year.
The most common is probably a software error that causes the display to flicker. Google knows about it and describes it in the sense that it occurs when you press the power button only lightly. This means that it is not strong enough for the device to switch on. He adds that this is not a hardware bug and that the December update will fix it.
Another problem was related to the previous two generations of Pixels – the green tint of the screen. This is a typical problem of OLED panels, which has also been experienced by models from other manufacturers. This is a hardware error, in which case it is recommended that you complain about the device.
The strangest thing happened to at least one Pixel 6 Pro owner. An additional hole appeared in the display located just a little lower than the one with the selfie sensor. The owner says it looks more like a hole than just a few dead pixels. However, his story ended happily – the store replaced his equipment.
We kind of concluded that it is not display damage, as poking it doesn’t make it bleed or warp. Also debug drawing over it didn’t work. This display was hole punched twice. #Pixel6Pro pic.twitter.com/pRLcxfXTaO

No news owner or potential smartphone would like to see these messages. Certainly, such a situation would not please anyone if they discovered a similar problem on their 600 or 900 € device.
