Google working on new Digital Wellbeing widget for screen time
Google is working on a new widget for Digital Wellbeing. The new widget gives you instant insight into how you use your phone, right on your home screen.
Digital Wellbeing widget
Digital Wellbeing, also known as Digital Wellbeing in Dutch, is getting a new widget for Android. On your smartphone you can already use the application, and see exactly how many notifications come in per day, as well as the amount of time you spend with your Android device. A new widget in development brings even more insight.
It is expected, 9to5Google reports, that the widget will not only come for Pixel devices, but also for all Android phones. You can see your current day’s screen time in the new widget. You can also adjust the format, where you can see under the screen time per app how much time you have spent on it.
For now, the feature is being tested in the Digital Wellbeing beta. It is not known when Google will roll out the widget to every user.
