Google stops Android Auto alternative Driving Mode in Assistant
Google is putting an end to Driving mode in the Google Assistant. This feature was an alternative to Android Auto on the smartphone. The function called Driving Mode or Driving Mode in Dutch will continue to work for another month.
Google stops driving mode
Google has announced that it will discontinue the Driving Mode service, which it will offer as part of the Google Assistant. On the screen you had direct access to certain useful things. For example, thanks to the assistant, certain things could be carried out while driving. You can think of reading and sending messages, calling and operating your media.
The Driving Mode, or Driving Mode, offered a launcher that gave you direct access to the various possibilities. This way you found shortcuts to different options on the screen. Such as navigation for Google Maps, a music player, volume control and more. The service was released by Google last year, but as of November 21, Google will no longer support and offer the service. It was announced as an alternative to the Android Auto app for the smartphone. A real alternative is now missing with the disappearance of the Driving mode, although you can still go to Google Maps for the limited driving mode.
