Google showed Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro: the best mobile phones ever?

At the beginning of August, Google officially confirmed the arrival of the Google Pixel 6 series. Since then, we have learned basically all the important information about the phones, and today the American giant has finally officially introduced both models. We learned new information not only about the Tensor chipset, but also about cameras, prices and availability.

Google has unveiled Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro

Both phones boast AMOLED display, while the Pro variant has 6.7-inch panel and classic Pixel 6 6.4-inch display. Of course, there is also a fingerprint reader built directly into it. Classic Pixel 6 got 90Hz panelwhile the Pro version 120Hz, but it is adaptive (LTPO) and can be reduced to 10 Hz.

Those interested in the classic version must be satisfied with slightly larger frames, but this is not a terrible thing. Both models are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus

A big innovation then took place in cameras. Instead of the 12Mpx sensor that Google has been using since Pixel 2, we have finally seen a bigger one 50Mpx sensors with laser autofocuswhich produces 12.5Mpx photos. It is complemented by a 12Mpx ultra-wide camera and, in the case of the Pro variant, as well 48Mpx telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. As for the video, it can be taken in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.

Android 12 will be available on the phones out of the box and we can count on features such as Dynamic Color, which the company introduced some time ago. Speculation that the new Pixels will have very good support has also been confirmed. A new line of phones from Google is supposed to receive regular security updates for five years.

In connection with the Google Tensor chipset, there was also talk of artificial intelligence, functions such as Live Translate či Magic Eraser they now work offline, making them faster. Thanks to Tensor, the new Pixels can better recognize speech, among other things. The chipset itself was to be developed for several years. We did not forget to mention that the new Pixels are the safest and place great emphasis on privacy, thanks to the new chip Titan M2who takes care of your passwords and other personal data. Unfortunately, the performance was only discussed in connection with Pixel 5, compared to which we are said to see a dramatic increase.
