Google has released its own VPN service in ten European countries. This brings the counter to 18 countries where the service can be used. The new locations where Google VPN can be used are the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Austria, Sweden and Switzerland. The service was previously available in the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Spain, Italy, Canada and Mexico.

Google VPN is part of a Google One subscription. However, this isn’t for everyone, as the addition is only available to those with a choice of 2TB or more. In addition, Google VPN is only available for Android or iPhone. A Mac or Windows app is not available.
