You will of course come to the Play Store if you would like to download a new app. Now the company comes with a feature that will help you with offers. They haven’t been that creative with the name, as the tab is called “Offers.”
New feature in Google Play Store
According to Android Police, the tab will appear at the bottom of the Play screen. It gives offers for games, apps, books, games and you name it. The new feature is separate from the existing “Offers & Notifications” section. The feature is not entirely new. The company previously had a separate Android app called “Offers,” which let you find deals in your current location. However, this has been a long time ago. The app was online in 2011 when Google Play was still called Android Market.
“Offers is a new tab in the Google Play Store app to help you discover deals in games and apps for travel, shopping, media and entertainment, fitness and more,” Google said in a blog post. When you tap the tab, multiple carousels are displayed with offers for movie rentals, apps, games, and more. It includes in-game item sales, in-app purchases and offers app trials, Android Police previously noted.
Rollout
Google is taking a smart step with this. The current “Offers & Notifications” section in the Store is not easy for users to find. The new tab is central and also offers many more products. So it is expected that you will use it faster.
The new feature is already rolling out to the US, India, and Indonesia, and will launch in other markets later this year. Whether Europe will be part of this is still unknown, but it is expected to be.
