A new update is being rolled out for the Google Play Store app on your Android device. From now on we will see changes in the design with rounded corners.

The Google Play Store application will look slightly different from now on. Google has activated a server-side update, with which the design of the interface has been slightly overhauled. This means that there are some changes to note. These are not big, but it all looks a bit fresher for the summer.

What stands out most are the pill-shaped buttons. The corners of the buttons have been smoothed and rounded. We see this throughout the application. Not only with the buttons in the app overview; to update, delete or open the app, but also in the home screen with all app icons. Everything is more rounded, in the style of Material You. It should all look a bit more refined.
