Google Play gets a new design from version 3.0 on Wear OS

The recent Google I / O 2021 conference also showed us, among other things, the Wear OS 3.0 system, on which Google is working together with Samsung. At the end of June, the South Korean company showed us the One UI Watch system (based on Wear OS 3.0) for the first time in action.

9to5google noticed that Google Play is getting a new look in Wear OS, which is very similar to that of Wear OS 3.0. One of the users got this look on his watch Suunto 7 and did not forget to attach a few screenshots that reveal the new user interface. The individual applications and buttons are now in pill shape. As we can see, there is a new interface more compact and makes better use of the small display of the watch. The text is also easier to read, thanks to the gray background.

It looks like a new Google Play interface yet does not spread as updates in bulk. We tested to see if the update happened to land on TicWatch E3 and TicWatch Pro 3 GPS, and we still have the old design on both devices. But maybe it’s only a few days before it starts to reach other users.
