‘Google Pixel Fold in development; gets 7.6 inch screen

It is already known that Google is working on a Pixel Tablet, and there are also rumors about a Pixel Fold. The smartphone in question will have a housing that is reminiscent of that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. You open it like a booklet, and that should also be the case with the Pixel Fold. The rumors about the new smartphone from Google have been around for a long time, and now again news about the foldable. We hear more about the screen and the dimensions of the smartphone.

According to the latest reports, the Google Pixel Fold would have a 7.6-inch screen when the device is folded open. This screen would offer a high refresh rate, presumably 120Hz. The resolution of the screen would be 2208 x 1840 pixels. The maximum brightness would be 1200 nits, with an average of 800 nits. A few things are also known about the cameras. Google would like to equip the smartphone with a 64-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens. On the internal screen there is room for an 8 megapixel front camera, while an extra selfie cam can be found on the outside.

The Pixel Fold will measure 155.0 x 130.0 millimeters, which roughly corresponds to that of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Google is planning to release the device early next year, possibly in March 2023. coming to the Netherlands is currently unknown. Since the Pixel 7 is officially available here, that chance is certainly present, but certainly no guarantee; since, for example, the Pixel Watch cannot be purchased here.
