Google Pixel 6 Pro may get the feature everyone wants

In our opinion, these are very successful models, but criticism has been directed at a slower fingerprint reader. It seems that an American company could at least partially solve this problem.

Face Unlock in Pixel 6 Pro? Maybe we’ll see him

Before their introduction, it was also speculated that in addition to the fingerprint reader, we would find Face Unlock technology for face unlocking in phones. But in the end, this turned out to be false information. However, Google could add it via an update, although so far only the Pro model is being talked about.

The mention was found in the code of the Android 12L system, which contains several references to the Face Unlock function with the device in which the Tensor chipset is ticking. However, the codes also mention that face unlocking is considered an experimental feature in the Pixel 6 series. Surprisingly, the same codes for the standard Pixel 6 do not mention Face Unlock, so it is possible that only Pro users will receive it, which does not have any special hardware that can recognize the face. That is, if we do not count a better selfie camera.
