Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro: the technical sheets would have been unveiled by Jon Prosser

The end of 2021 will be marked by the presentation of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Many weeks before their release, the specialized leaker Jon Prosser would have delivered more information on the two smartphones of the American manufacturer.

In recent months, many leaks have converged on new smartphones from Google. It is the specialized leaker Jon Prosser who has published on his Front Page Tech site a series of information about the brand’s future phones. The technical sheets of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have been unveiled with many new features. Be careful, however, the information should be taken with a grain of salt since the American informant may be wrong. This has happened to him before with Apple.

Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will get five years of software support

The two smartphones of the same range will benefit from common technical characteristics. First of all at the level of the house processor. This would be the “Whitechapel” prototype developed for several months internally. This would offer much more power than previous models from Google. Unlike its previous models which trusted the founder Qualcomm, the in-house chip would allow the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro to better control their power. According to information from Jon Prosser, this construction would allow better software tracking on these devices. Google would thus be ready to offer 5 years of complete updates on Android. The Pixel 6 Pro datasheet contains a few differences:

• 6.71 inch OLED plastic screen
• A triple back sensor of 50 + 48 + 12 megapixels (Telephoto and Ultra wide angle)
• 12 megapixel front camera
• 5000 mAh battery
• Google processor
• 12 GB RAM
• 128/256 and 512 GB of storage
• Comes under Android 12

At the time of writing, some additional information has been delivered. Prototypes of the hulls were unveiled revealing a particular construction highlighting the camera. On this part, it was mentioned the presence of a gimbal sensor.
