First of all, there is a new design for the library arrive. You can filter faster by means of search filters that you encounter as a button at the top of the screen. For example, on images that have just been saved online, albums that have been shared or photos that are stored on your phone and not in your online account.

Share Google Photos

To share has also been improved in the new version of Google Photos. At the screen you will already see a list of shared albums and other content. In the new screen, this content is divided into separate groups, so that you have a faster overview. A distinction is made between shared albums, conversations and shared albums/links.

Google Photos screenshots

A shortcut is added to the top of the overview for screenshots† You can get a reminder of screenshots taken with the device. A new overview with intelligent functions for screenshots is also being worked on. This gives you options to copy, crop or get started with Google Lens.

The update should be rolled out in the coming weeks.
