Google Photos with reminders update

The reminders feature in Google Photos is a popular feature, according to the brand. You can go back in time for years. The so-called memories can also group your photos around a particular subject and present them in a section for you to view. Several improvements have now been devised. Thanks to a new design, these should be more dynamic and more attention has been paid to the videos and photos that are shown. In addition, subtle zooming in and out is used, Google promises.

A memory is now also easy to share with someone else via Google Photos. This feature allows sharing via a web link, and will be added soon via Apple iOS. It is still possible to remove certain periods or people from your memories, Google emphasizes.

Through cinematic photos, or Cinematic Memories, a 3D model of your image is made and it will be part of your photo display in the memories.

collages

Google Photos also brings a new collage editor, which finally lets you edit your collages yourself. You can use different grids for this, you can move photos and choose your own background. Of course you can save and share the end result. The feature is called “Styles” by Google.

The update for Google Photos is rolling out as of now, but it may take a while for it to be available to everyone.
