Google Photos comes with improvements for videos

There are a number of improvements waiting for the Google Photos Android app. It’s about double-tap and pinch-to-zoom.

Video improvements in Google Photos

The Android app of Google Photos is getting an update with a number of new functions. We see the improvements in the videos. For example, it is now possible to double tap the screen to display the video in full screen.

Another improvement is pinch-to-zoom support. This means you can pinch your fingers together to zoom in on the video. By wiping them apart, the image can be zoomed out again. Once zoomed in, you can also drag the image so that you can view a part of a video better.

It is a server-side update so you do not have to download an update from the Google Play Store for Google Photos.
