Google is under pressure from users. Its speakers are noisy
One of the handy features offered by smart devices from the Nest series is the generation of so-called white noise. Not only does it fall asleep or relax well for children. Often used ambient sound is one of the fourteen basic audio tracks that the smart Nest Hub or the speakers in this series can start automatically. After a few years, for a hitherto unknown reason (perhaps the recent ruling on the dispute with Sonos would also play a role in this?), Google has decided to change this white noise. This provoked a wave of resentment among a large number of fans of this function.
“It’s quieter” and “more crooked” are, for example, allegations that appear on both the official support site and the Reddit social network. At the same time, users of this feature noticed that the repetitive audio loop was reduced from one hour to just 10 minutes. You can tell this because the audio track starts with amplification and ends with attenuation. The objection has so far met by around a hundred, especially some parents are really outraged.
Under what conditions do you normally fall asleep?
