Google improves battery usage overview in Android

Google has rolled out new battery stats with the Pixel 6 series. These are part of a new update for the Pixel devices. This overview will also be available for older Pixel models.

On the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, you can use the new battery stats. Users should be able to see more accurately what is draining the battery with this overview. Until now, these two Pixel devices were the only models with which you got this updated overview. The statistics were divided into two hour blocks, so that you could see exactly what required a lot of energy during that time.

Google is now rolling out the new display to previously released Pixel models as well. It is currently unknown whether non-Pixel devices will also receive the new display of battery consumption. Now you only see the total consumption on your Android device since the last charge. You can therefore better filter this in the new overview.
