Google has fixed bugs in Android Auto. Did you meet them?
The Android Auto platform works reliably in most cases, but from time to time, a trivial error occurs in this system, which annoys users’ lives and they cannot do anything with it. Recently, we were able to meet with two similar cases where the location was angry, both in the search results in the area and in the weather.
Are you annoyed by location services in Android Auto? You are not alone
The first users started reporting these problems as early as March this year, and only now has Google fixed them. The talk is that if you look for nearby gas stations, you will see results around your home (if you have an address set on your phone) instead of displaying the results based on your current location.
Quite a few users on reddit solve this problem, and it is similar to the weather, when you are shown values at home, not where you are at the moment. In addition to reddit, this issue is also addressed in the Google Support Forums, with one of the moderators confirming the fix for both bugs.
Have you ever encountered a similar problem?
