Google Family Link – Android-Logiciels.fr
Whether you are the parent of a young child or a teenager, Family Link will allow you to set basic digital rules of life, remotely, from your device, to better support them in their learning, games and browsing. on the Internet.
For those under 13 (or the minimum age authorized in your country), Family Link also offers you the possibility to create a Google account for your child, similar to yours, with access to most Google services.
Characteristics :
Support your child in his explorations
– Keep an eye on its activities: not all applications are created equal. Help your child to use their Android device sensibly. Thanks to the activity reports, you know how much time he is spending on his favorite apps. You can view daily, weekly or monthly reports.
– Manage their apps: thanks to notifications, you can approve or block the apps your child wants to download from the Google Play Store. You can also manage their purchases through applications and hide certain apps on their device, remotely, from yours.
– Satisfy their curiosity: it is not always easy to know if a particular app is appropriate for your child. To help you, Family Link offers teacher-recommended apps and lets you install them right on their device.
Control the time your child spends in front of their screen
– Set limits: you determine the right amount of time to use your device. Family Link allows you to set usage limits and bedtime on your child’s device, to help them find the right balance.
– Lock their device: when it’s time to get some fresh air, have dinner, spend time with the family or just take a break, you can remotely lock your child’s supervised device.
See where it is
– It is always reassuring to know where your child is when he is not at home. If he has his device on him, you can see his location in Family Link.

– In order for you to see the location of your child or teenager, their device must be turned on, have been used recently and be connected to the Internet.
– Teacher Recommended Apps are only available on Android devices in the US, for parents of children of specific ages.
– Although Family Link provides tools to manage your child’s online experience, it does not make the Internet a safe place. Family Link, on the other hand, is designed to allow parents to choose how their child uses the Internet, and promotes discussion around Internet use.
