Google Drive will be more secure. It comes with a useful feature
Service Google Disk is one of the most used tools for backing up personal and work files. Google is aware of this fact and is constantly improving its security. According to the portal AndroidPolice you now Google Disk alerts you to a potentially dangerous file with a strong alert.
Strong yellow warning
During last year’s Cloud Next 2021 conference, Google announced that it was taking steps to protect users from malicious content and files. This is because users often store files on Google Drive that are not sufficiently authenticated. The attackers are trying to exploit this service to spread malicious files.
To help users determine exactly what types of files they’re dealing with, Google has launched a new feature that alerts them to suspicious files. If Google’s internal systems detect that the file could be dangerous in some way, a yellow warning will appear at the top of the screen, beating the user’s eyes.
The feature is already available in Google Docs
With it, Google Drive tries to let him know that the file looks suspicious and may try to steal his sensitive personal data. Google performs such active file scans only to detect abnormal behavior. It probably does not check the complete content, it only detects parts that could be dangerous.
A similar feature is already available in Google Docs. This is the most common user experience for viewing and editing documents stored on Google Drive. The alert is currently displayed in the Google Drive web interface and it is not known how it should be displayed in its mobile application.
