Google Calendar now makes sure you don’t forget to do any more
Google Calendar is going to work better as a to-do list for Workspace users. If you still have outstanding tasks, a notification will now appear just below the date to remind you. The feature works for Android n iOS as well as the web version.
Google Calendar Tasks
Google is coming up with a utility for Workspace users who work with tasks in Calendar. Your tasks have of course been integrated into Google Calendar for some time, but both the app and the web version will now remind you better when you have unfinished tasks. Google announced a new feature in a blog post.
You literally can’t miss your tasks anymore, because the number of uncompleted assignments from the past 30 days is now immediately visible below the date in Google Calendar. So if you take a look at your appointments for that day, you are immediately confronted with your to-do list. If you then tap on those tasks, you will immediately see the entire list and you can mark a task as completed or edit it.
availabilty
Google is rolling out this utility for the web version of Calendar, but on Android and iOS. Some of the Workspace users will see this feature in the coming days, while other domains will get the novelty from March 3rd. In addition, the improved tasks will be rolled out in the Gmail app from February 17, and you can also use it on iOS from March 1.
