Google brings back beloved doodle game
Is your timeline also full of people celebrating Halloween? In the Netherlands the whole trick or treat children’s party hasn’t really got off the ground yet, but there are plenty of parties to celebrate where big and small walk around dressed as creeps. Google is also joining the Halloween craze (which is huge in the United States, of course) and is bringing back a much-loved doodle: The Great Ghoul Duel.
Halloween on Google
Google has made all kinds of different horror games for Halloween, but this time decides to opt for a lot of purple and a lot of ghosts in the doodle (Google’s title picture when you surf to Google.nl). If you click on it, you will arrive at a game that we have already seen at Halloween, namely in 2018, but now a more extensive version.
In The Great Ghoul Duel 2 you have to draw different shapes to defeat ghosts. It is an online multiplayer game where two teams have to compete against each other. You have to earn flames and bring them back to your home base. You have to make sure you don’t take too many flames with you, because you get an increasingly longer row of flames behind you and that makes it easier for the opponent to steal them. However, it also has its advantages: you do get special power-ups if you dare to take a little risk.

There is, however, something that can be done about it, which is to use the invincibility pumpkin. That ensures that you can beat others without your flames being in danger. In addition, the game has also been expanded with new achievements in the form of hats that you can put on your doll. The game will still be available on Google.nl in the coming days, but if you miss it at some point, you can always go to the Doodle archive to go for it. You will probably play against bots, if there are not enough players present. You can also create a link and send it to your friends, if you can get them to shudder with you.
