Samsung Galaxy S23 confirmed again with larger battery

Some time ago, two independent sources confirmed that the battery of the Galaxy S23 should be slightly larger than its predecessor. Now a Chinese source, who is already known from previous leaks, is also getting involved (source: Weibo). So he should Galaxy S23 battery grow to 3,900 mAh. As expected, that would be 200 mAh more than the predecessor, which had to make do with 3,700 mAh. In the test of the Galaxy S22, we showed that that’s not really much. The 3,900 mAh battery of the Galaxy S23 is already a positive development.

Even if the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S23 is good news on paper with 3,900 mAh and should probably also extend the battery life of the smartphone, the source is not satisfied with it. In In combination with the 6.1-inch display and the Full HD resolution, the battery life should still not be great. In order to evaluate the final, we have to wait for the final devices. Basically, a larger battery is good news.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus also gets bigger battery

We know from previous leaks that not only will the Galaxy S23 get a larger battery, but so will the Galaxy S23 Plus. There, too, the battery should increase by 200 mAh to 4,700 mAh. Nothing should change with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The battery should continue to have a capacity of 5,000 mAh there. There is probably nothing more in the case with the S Pen.
