God of War Ragnarök may be released at the end of September -apkrig

If you have already formally closed the game year 2021 and are looking forward to the coming year, you will most likely have God of War Ragnarök on the list of expected titles. The sequel to the very successful God of War of 2018 was fully announced during the September presentation of the PlayStation Showcase, and the developers from the Sony Santa Monica studio had a lot of interesting information even after the ceremony. For example, we learned that new God of War will not be a trilogy and that the development leader is not Cory Barlog, who is already working on another project, but one of his closest colleagues Eric Williams. What the developers kept secret, however, was the release date, which changed at least at the level of years this June. PlayStation Studios President Hermen Hulst announced that the new God of War would not arrive until 2022, but later actor Christopher Judge – the thug of the protagonist Krat – took the lead and injured himself during the development and needed to be put in order first. Now, however, there has been speculation between the holidays that the specific release date may be September 30, which coincidentally comes out on a Friday and fits the usual schedule.

The information was brought by a group of people appearing on Twitter under the nickname PlayStation Game Size. They regularly browse the PlayStation Network database and extract information about individual game versions or updates from it, often before they are publicly communicated by developers, publishers or Sony. And in the case of God of War Ragnarök, their efforts were not in vain. According to their information, they were able to extract the mentioned date from the database, although they pointed out that it could still be a placeholder, which will later be replaced by a specific date. Most discussants take this warning seriously and remain rather pessimistic towards the end of September. Eventually, the effects of various restrictions and restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic may come into play, and in fact we would not be surprised if Ragnarök were the big winter game of 2022.

Nevertheless, there are enthusiastic comments, which also add to the information and other information – God of War Ragnarök passed through the hands of the rating committee in Saudi Arabia to obtain an age limit of M, ie 18+. The news appeared on the Twitter of a Kuwaiti fan of PlayStation and games from Sony, who also provided a screenshot from the commission’s website, which would indicate an even earlier release than in September. Although there is no one-size-fits-all rule for publishers to have their games age rated so that they can simply say – so many and so many months left – it’s usually no more than half a year, even shorter in practice. There is certainly no way out of the game that Sony will surprise the fans after the launch of Horizon Forbidden West in February and – who knows – will set the date of the new God of War to one of the spring dates. Even in this case, however, we would take all the information with great reserve and simply wait for what the new year 2022 will bring.
