Ghostrunner 2 targets PC and next-gen consoles -apkrig
505 Games has announced the sequel to the first person cyberpunk game Ghostrunner. The two are heading to the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, and the One More Level studio is working on it again. 505 Games recently acquired the rights to the Ghostrunner brand itself from All in! Games. The current publisher will double its investment in the development of Ghostrunner 2, as it sees IP as a brand with great potential that can enrich its portfolio. The cost of the original game was about 2.5 million euros and returned in a single day. The budget is now planned at 5 million euros.
As already mentioned, the Polish team More More Level will take care of the development, as in the case of number one. The publisher also boasted that over 600,000 copies of Ghostrunner had been sold since its launch in October 2020. In addition, it should be available on next-gen consoles by the end of the year, thanks to which these numbers can still jump significantly. By the way, the average score for Metacritic is around a very nice 80 percent. On Steam, even as many as 90 percent of players rate the title positively.

The 505 Games are said to be enthusiastic about the original title and plans for its sequel. According to the company’s management, the new cooperation will deepen the publisher’s presence on the Polish market. He considers the company to be one of the best and most interesting in this field in Europe and will continue to follow it, apparently in an effort to catch other potentially interesting projects by talented authors. 505 emphasize that they want to continue to expand their portfolio.
In recent years, 505 Games has released games such as Control, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Journey to the Savage Planet or Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, but also a PC version of Death Stranding. Studio One More Level is based in Krakow and was founded in 2014. The company employs over 30 people. All in! Paid for the rights to the Ghostrunner 505 Games brand! Games 5 million euros and it seems that this IP really has the ambition to really grow.
