Galaxy Buds 2: Samsung releases Pokémon edition of the in-ears

For Pokémon fans, Samsung has some special in-ear headphones on offer, as the Galaxy Buds 2 (Pro) are now available in a special edition inspired by the popular franchise. And this is certainly not the first time that the manufacturer has released products specifically for Pokémon lovers.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 (Pro) now also available as Pokémon Edition
Pokémon fans who are looking for new in-ears should be happy about the special editions of the Galaxy Buds 2 (Pro) presented in June. Because the manufacturer has new ones from the popular Bluetooth headphones, at least for its home market in South Korea Pokémon-themed designs launched.
Last year, Samsung released a Pokeball-style case for the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which turned out to be a real blockbuster among Pokemon fans. Now three new designs have been added, for which Samsung apparently took inspiration from the Pokémon Ditto, Jigglypuff and Relaxo inspired.
One of the new Galaxy Buds 2 Pokémon packs costs 129,000 South Korean Won (KRW), which is the equivalent of around 90 euros is equivalent to. For the Pro version, on the other hand, Samsung calls a price of 199,000 KRW respectively 139 euros on. In addition to the wireless earphones with charging case, the scope of delivery also includes stickers with the selected Pokémon motif.
Not the first Pokémon edition in Samsung’s lineup
Customers from South Korea can officially purchase the new in-ears since June 27th. It is still unknown whether Samsung will also be introducing the Pokémon editions of its Galaxy Buds 2 (Pro) in this country. In the past, the manufacturer has sometimes offered limited edition Pokémon accessories for various Galaxy products, including those for various versions of the Samsung Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Z Flip.
However, the regular version of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 (Pro) is available in German stores. While the normal Galaxy Buds 2 came onto the market in August 2021 from around 80 euros, Samsung submitted the Pro version about a year later for just under 140 euros.
