From iPhone 14 Pro crash after data transfer, Apple investigates

A bug exists with some iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max where the smartphone freezes after transferring data from an old iPhone. Apple is aware and investigating, according to an internal memo intercepted by MacRumors.

In the memo, Apple states that it is “aware of this problem and is investigating”. The manufacturer specifically notes that some customers may find that their iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Pro Max freezes and becomes unresponsive after an iCloud restore or data transfer from their previous iPhone after the initial setup phase.

What if this happens to you? Apple prompts users to restart their iPhone if it freezes for more than five minutes. Unfortunately, there are no other solutions at this time.

We can say that the launch of the iPhone 14 was strewn with pitfalls. Already, Apple had to release iOS 16.0.1 to fix several bugs. Also, the company acknowledged on Friday, launch day, that there were issues with activation. This was particularly the case with iMessage and FaceTime. Instructions have been posted to fix the issues.

Stay to know now what will happen for blocking problems. A new corrective update of iOS will be necessary to have a return to normal.
