Did you know that the operator Free had a file transfer tool? Free Transfer, abandoned at one time and resurrected in 2021, allows the user to share a document online. Recently, the service has become free, but above all open to all!
A generous free version
Free Transfer had the right to a complete overhaul in July 2021, after a virtual abandonment of the service by the brand. Since then, Free has sought to solidify the position of its online document sharing tool. In this logic, the operator has just opened the platform to all Internet users, Freebox customers or not.
The consumer solution is therefore completely free, with interesting features. It is thus possible to share files of up to 10 GB, remaining valid for 7 days for up to 10 people. Sharing is done via a download link, it can be protected by a password. A little useful information, transfers are secure in HTTPS (fortunately) and all files are stored in data centers in the Paris region.
Go unlimited in Premium version
If you are a Free subscriber, a Premium version is also available. By connecting to the service from your Freebox, or via a telephone with a subscription to the operator, you can access this version.

Here, there is no size limit. The validity of the files sent increases to 30 days and the maximum number of recipients increases to 50 interlocutors. Good news: if the service is called Premium, it is however also completely free. The tool is included by default in the Free subscription.
