Free game costs up to 100 euros through the back door
Lara Croft is celebrating a comeback on the smartphone: Tomb Raider Reloaded is now available free of charge for Android and iOS. The mobile game can also be obtained via Netflix. With microtransactions, players should put up to 100 euros on the table.
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider Reloaded for Android and iOS
Eight years after the last major mobile game, Lara Croft returns to smartphones. Tomb Raider Reloaded starts during February 14, 2023 and is available for free on Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store. For the first time, the action game is also available via the streaming provider Netflix (source: Tomb Raider Reloaded).
Tomb Raider is as Free to play game designed with some optional microtransactions. Additional features are reported to cost between $1.99 and $99.99.
Each chapter of the game is divided into 30 smaller levels. In order to advance to the next chapter, all levels must be completed without dying. At the end of each chapter there is a boss fight, intermediate opponents are also provided. The gameplay is more action-heavy than the much slower Lara Croft Go.
To control the Touchscreen as a virtual joystick used. When you take your finger off the screen, Lara will automatically target the nearest enemy. So the game decides who or what is targeted. This type of control will certainly take some getting used to for some players.
Tomb Raider Reloaded should be released in 2021
Studios Emerald City Games and Onoma had Tomb Raider Reloaded first announced in November 2020. The title was supposed to appear a year later, but was initially only released as a test version in a few countries. Then, in July 2021, the game was overhauled with better graphics and more content. However, the planned release date could not be met.
