Fortnite trailer shows a good new island and Spider-Man
The trailer for Fortnite chapter 3 is online and shows a completely new island and Spider-Man.
Chapter 2 of the popular game Fortnite has only just come to an end. Still, this doesn’t stop sleuths from finding out what the upcoming chapter will contain. For example, as Kotaku discovered, the official Polish Youtube Channel The game briefly released a Chapter 3 trailer revealing many of the planned changes to the Battery Royale Brawler. You can expect a new island. But also new characters, including Gears of War’s Marcus and Kait. As well as Spider-Man – there even seems to be web swinging like you’ve seen in Insomniac’s Spider-Man games.
Fortnite and Spider-Man
We can expect new weapons as always in a new chapter, but also some new mechanics. You can slide, featured in the Chapter 2 finale, and set up camps. This is to both heal your squad and store items that you can take with you to future matches. And there’s even a certain amount of star power: The Foundation, a character voiced by Dwayne Johnson, will be taken from the conclusion of Chapter 2. Dwayne Johnson, of course, we know as The Rock.
When all this good will become available is not clear. No launch date has been given yet. However, developer Epic isn’t afraid to repeat history and kick players out of Fortnite as the previous chapter drew to a close. Chapter 2 ended on a dramatic note, with The Foundation helping to defeat a Cube Queen invasion. And thereby turn the whole island upside down. If you stayed with the event, you kept treading water and you had no choice but to leave the game. Obviously, Epic is betting that this dramatic trick will work a second time around. We will see!
