Formula 1 2022 is about to start, these are the best F1 games

The new Formula 1 season will start again from 23 to 25 February, with the test days in Barcelona. Last December we already covered the game F1 Clash. However, the app will soon come with an update that will include the new season, with its new regulations, cars and drivers. You will soon be able to race with Alexander Albon in the really beautiful Williams or with Guanyu Zou in the renewed Alfa Romeo. We will also say goodbye to certain drivers, so our Italian friend Antonio will probably not return to the game.

In F1 Clash you compete against players around the world. This can be in a duel (1 against 1) or by participating in an F1 event that is held on a ‘real’ Grand Prix day. The more you win, the higher you rank in the competition. And the higher you are in this, the higher the rewards you can get. You can use these rewards to upgrade your car and/or drivers or to ‘hire’ a new F1 driver. In F1 Clash you are also partly the engineer and you decide on which tires your drivers start and when they have to make a pit stop, for example.

Strategy plays a major role in the game. For example, are you going to put your driver on the softs and let him drive fast, which causes more tire wear, so you have to make pit stops earlier and more often. Or do you choose to put your rider on the hards, which will slow you down but still allow you to skip a pit stop? In short, especially the pit stop strategy is very important, here you win or lose a race. Luck also plays a big role in the game. This is especially the case with qualifying, where the game calculates a lap time for you. This could mean that your riders start in places fifteen and nineteen, while your opponent starts in places twelve and ten.

F1 Mobile Racing

In F1 Mobile Racing you can create your own Formula 1 car and compete in it against other players in a multiplayer duel (1 on 1) or against the AI. It is also possible to race for an existing team. As you win you can win prizes to, among other things, improve your car and work your way up in the different divisions. Because the game is an ‘F1 licensed product, you race on real circuits and against real drivers like Max Verstappen, Carlos Sainz, Nicholas Latifi and of course ‘The GOAT’ Sebastian Vettel.

The races are in 3D and therefore look very nice and sleek. However, it makes the game graphically quite heavy. You can also choose from various control options for the operation of the game. However, whichever control you choose, it is not the easiest and most smooth control. For example, braking can be difficult, especially with larger smartphones and/or tablets.
