Ford releases Mach-Eau, a perfume with the smell of gasoline!
Today, electric cars are becoming more and more important and internal combustion cars are getting more and more bad press. All this to try to remedy global warming. Despite this, many people are still attached to traditional cars. The car manufacturer Ford seems to have realized this and took the opportunity to design an original perfume… a perfume with the scent of gasoline!
Ford did issue a surprising statement in July announcing the release of a new fragrance developed by Pia Long of the British Society of Perfumers. This perfume, which has the name ” Mach-Water “Smells of petroleum. It would appeal to electric vehicle owners nostalgic for the smell of gasoline.
Ford is sure its scent will appeal to any user
The announcement of this fragrance was also made on the eve of the release of the Mach-E GT, the fully electric sports version of the very first Ford Mustang. Ford officials explain that ” Mach-Eau is designed to please the nose of any user. A high-end fragrance that mixes smoky accords, rubber scents and even an “animal” element to recall the heritage of the Mustang, with an impression of horses “.
Ford is therefore convinced that this new flagrance will undoubtedly appeal to former drivers of gasoline cars. Especially since a survey carried out previously by the manufacturer would have revealed that 70% of those questioned admitted that they missed the smell of gasoline. It remains to be seen whether this Ford perfume will be a hit or not.
