Oppo has announced the Oppo Find N2 Flip worldwide, after it was previously presented for China. With the Find N2 Flip, the brand is competing with Samsung and Motorola, among others.

We may see a new foldable smartphone on the streets. Oppo has presented its foldable Oppo Find N2 Flip; a device that you open like a clamshell device, as we know from the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Motorola Razr 2022. It is the first folding smartphone from Oppo to be released worldwide. The company previously presented the Find N, a phone that opens like a book. However, this device was not released in our country.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip will be available in the colors Astral Black and Moonlit Purple. Inside is a folding AMOLED screen with a size of 6.8 inches and a refresh rate of 120Hz. A special layer over the screen provides anti-reflection. On the outside is an external display with which you can not only find the notifications, but also operate your Spotify, for example. Not only on a simple small screen, but on a 3.26 inch larger screen, which is also able to show visuals. Thanks to changes in ColorOS, you also get the option to take selfies, which you can view directly on the screen.

Oppo managed to spend a lot of time in the presentation on the fact that there will be no opening (gap) between the screen when the device is closed. According to the brand, a test by TÜV Rheinland has shown that the device can be opened and closed at least 400,000 times without problems occurring.

Thanks to the Flexform mode, you can use the phone at an angle of 45 degrees, making it useful for video calls, for example. The Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. The manufacturer has a collaboration with Hasselblad, for which they collaborated for the camera. Oppo provides the smartphone with at least 256GB of storage space and 8GB of RAM. The drive is done by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. Oppo supplies the phone with a 4300 mAh battery with a charging speed of 44W. Naturally, the smartphone will be released with Android 13 and the ColorOS 13 skin.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip can expect four Android OS updates and five years of security updates.

Availability

Oppo releases the Oppo Find N2 Lite worldwide, including in Europe. However, the Netherlands and Belgium are not yet among the countries in which the foldable telephone will be released.
