First beta of Android 14 is now available for Pixel phones

Google has reported in a blog post that it has begun rolling out the first beta version of Android 14. Like last year, it will be released one month before Google I/O, the company’s annual developer conference. Google indicates that it has worked hard on the core themes of Android 14: performance, security, privacy and productivity.

After two previous developer previews – which are specifically intended for developers – Android enthusiasts can now test the first beta version of Android 14 and share their experiences.   • Language preferences per app have been improved: dynamic customizations become possible in the set of languages ​​shown in the list of settings per app language. Android 14 Timeline

So the first beta version of Android 14 has been released and beta releases are yet to appear until June. Two Platform Stability versions will appear after this and Android 14 will be officially announced to the general public after July. The upcoming Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro will most likely be the first two smartphones to run on Android 14.
