Find your friends more easily in Fortnite

Sometimes it is difficult to find friends in Fortnite, there is a solution.

Fortnite is extremely popular. And rightly so, it’s just an entertaining game that you can play with friends online. The best part is that you don’t do this with random players, but with friends. To help you find better squad members, Fortnite developer Epic Games is testing new social tags for profiles. This allows you to specify how you like to play and which can be used to match you with other like-minded players.

Finding friends in Fortnite

According to a developer’s blog post, tags include things like your favorite game modes and whether or not you want to use a microphone. If you’ve added at least one social tag, you can send and receive invitations from people with matching tags located in your server region. This using a new ‘Looking for Party’ section in the sidebar menu. You can enable or disable “Looking For Party”. So if you don’t want to receive invites from other players based on your tags, just disable it.

You may not have social tags and Looking For Party features yet as they are now being tested. “These features will be rolled out incrementally to all players at a pace that depends on the test,” Epic said. And you should make sure you have the latest update to the game, which was released on Tuesday.
