It is precisely this fact that the authors of the well – known dating platform Tinder and they also included their music preferences in the user filtering formula. In this new form of finding ideal counterparts, they joined forces with perhaps the most professional partner – the Spotify service.

The so-called Music Mode is slowly becoming (the feature will be introduced in a few weeks) part of the revolutionary Explore section, which the dating application introduced this autumn. The principle of judging musical taste is based on listening to one song (so-called Anthem or anthems), which the user connects to his profile via Spotify.

Only those who set their own anthem can enter the Music Mode space. At the time of the official announcement of this news already it is said that 40% of the representatives of Generation Z set their anthem and it helped them get another ten percent of the matches in the app.
