Finally! How to use WhatsApp on multiple devices
A feature we’ve been waiting for for years will finally become a reality. How to use WhatsApp on multiple devices!
It’s quite an annoyance though. WhatsApp can only be used on your smartphone, linked to your phone number. For example, it is possible to use WhatsApp via an application on your desktop, but your smartphone must be nearby. The applications are not used separately.

And that will soon change. Finally we can say. WABetaInfo has received some interesting info in an interview with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and WhatsApp boss Will Cathcart. WhatsApp is working on a feature that will make it possible to use the app on four different devices. WhatsApp with its own application for the iPad is also discussed in the interview.
This also means that you will soon be able to use WhatsApp on multiple smartphones. It really is a stand alone feature, where your main smartphone with WhatsApp no longer needs to be near the other device you want to use the app on.
We can expect a public beta in the coming months. If everything has been approved, the rollout will follow. In addition to this important new feature, there are also some minor updates planned for WhatsApp. All in all, things are looking good for the popular messaging service.
