Finally Final Fantasy on the PlayStation 5!

Yes, just Final Fantasy on the next generation console, in this case the PlayStation 5.

When was the last time you could play a decent Final Fantasy on the PlayStation? Exactly, that has been a while. Final Fantasy XIV, albeit a remake, is coming to PlayStation 5 and now there is some clarity about its arrival.

Final Fantasy XIV originally appeared on PC on September 30, 2010. Six months later it was the turn of the PlayStation 3. And now, about 10 years later, the PS5 can get started with this game. Gamers will have the chance to experience the game for the first time on April 13. Then there will be an open beta for Final Fantasy XIV on the PS5.

The game runs on a new system, which makes it possible to experience the game in 4k resolution. How cool is that? Especially if you have played the original on the PC or PS3 it will be a nice nostalgia trip. If you have already bought the game for the PS4, you can upgrade to the PS5 version for free.

It’s not just one trip down memory lane. The creators also plan to bring new content to Final Fantasy XIV on PlayStation 5 for a new gaming experience.
