Find Stone Tongue in FF16

The Stone Tongue is a rare material that can only be found once per playthrough. You get it as loot for one of the hunting missions in FF16. You have to slay the monster “Agni” for this. It’s a giant lizard

This level 40, Danger Rank A hunting target becomes available from the 47th main quest “Brothers” on the hunting board in the Hideout. Agni spawns right in the middle of the path between the At Heaven’s End and Harff-Kar areas in the Kingdom of Waluth. It’s best to travel to the fast travel point at the end of the sky and then head north until you get to the area with Agni.

Agni is a giant lizard and drops 8,000 experience points, 100 skill points, 15,500 gil and 35 fame in addition to the stone tongue.

Craft Ouroboros Belt

The Stone Tongue is only intended for the production of the “Ouroboros” belt. You will unlock the blueprint for it after completing the side quest “Smite Your Fortune III”. In addition to the stone tongue, you will also need:

Make sure you don’t sell any of these materials beforehand, as you cannot buy them back from vendors. It is best to never sell resources where the information box says “Used for the production of equipment and items.”, then nothing can happen to you here. If you have sold the items anyway, you can only capture them again in a New Game Plus or in Final Fantasy mode.
