Fans can look forward to good news

Since Nintendo released the first trailer for Breath of the Wild 2 in 2021, fans have been looking forward to the sequel. It should continue to appear in 2022, as documents now show.

Zelda: Nintendo is sticking to the original plan

Recently, it has often been the case that games have been postponed for weeks, sometimes months and even years – but you have to be comfortable with the successor to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild do not worry. Why?

In Nintendo’s presentation for investors, the company states what else is planned for this year. Among other things, there is a list of all the major games that are scheduled to appear in the coming months. These include Kirby and the Lost Land, Splatoon 3, Bayonetta 3 and The Sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Obviously the game doesn’t have an official name yet, but the number 2022 gives hope that that Nintendo can keep previous release plans with the game.

By the way, the list goes with that Announcing Metroid Prime 4 further – however, an indication is missing here. Instead of a year, there is only a TBA placeholder. This stands for “to be announced” and means something like “announcement follows”.

What do we know about Breath of the Wild 2?

Nintendo is still keeping a low profile on the successor to the successful game. In the first trailer, Link and Zelda go into a cave and find a dead body there. Is it about their adversary Ganondorf? Through magic, the skeleton gets back up and wants to bring disaster to Hyrule.

The final gameplay trailer hints new features like a hover module, time travel and a kind of flamethrower on. Hopefully you will find out what exactly awaits you in the game in 2022.
