Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp are down
The most recently published posts are not loaded in the application, others cannot be added and messages do not go at all. And computer users no longer load pages at all. This is not the introduction of digital post-apocayptic film, but the news that Facebook Inc. and almost all of its services have a worldwide outage. It started around 18:00 our time and applies to Facebook and Instagram social networks, Messenger and WhatsApp communicators, as well as Oculus VR.
The company admitted the problems on Twitter, where it wrote at 6:15 pm that it had noticed problems with some people accessing the mobile application. But it soon became clear that the outage had a much wider impact. For example, Facebook on the web doesn’t work at the moment. It can be a problem (as almost always) broken connection to the DNS server. All the mentioned social networks and communicators on the Down Detector website have this problem.
