Facebook allows calls for murder… on Vladimir Putin

On social networks, there are rules and an account can quickly be suspended or banned if the user does not respect them. Racism, anti-Semitism, homophobia, calls for murder… In the latter case, there is now an exception at Facebook: Vladimir Poutine…

The purpose of this article is not to feel sorry for Vladimir Putin, but to denounce the variable geometry rules of social networks and in particular those of Meta, the parent company of Facebook. Because imagine that it is possible to wish the death of the strong man of the Kremlin if you are Ukrainian, Slovak, Armenian, Estonian, Hungarian, etc. In short, all the surrounding countries. One “Death to Putin” (“Death to Putin”) is therefore exceptionally authorized from Facebook to mark its opposition to the violent invasion of Russian forces on its neighbor. As Meta has given permission, your post cannot be blocked and your account will not be suspended. This is also the case for the poodle of the former KGB, the very charismatic President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.

The bad guys, they are bad guys

Even if we understand perfectly that the Ukrainians really want to see the head of “Volodya” on a pike or in a basket, the fact of authorizing a call for murder is famous on the part of the very “right-thinking” Facebook.

“They are bad, so it’s good to want them dead”

Attempt a “Death to Biden” as an American citizen and you will undoubtedly go for a little while on the paradise island of Guantánamo with a trial scheduled for 2078…

But be careful, there are two rules to follow: you must not specify where and how to kill him so as not to be blocked or suspended.
So :

“Putin, die bitch! »OK
“You have to kill Putin at home with a pie shovel”NO

There you go, you know everything you need to know. Thank you Android-MT!

Kremlin launches legal action against Facebook

Of course Russia was not going to stop there and opened criminal proceedings for “unlawful calls for murder and violence against citizens of the Russian Federation”. The Russian prosecutor’s office said: “Not only does this kind of action lead to the belief that the terrorist threat is permissible, but it legitimizes incitement to hatred against Russian citizens”. He therefore demanded that the Court recognize Meta as an extremist organization and ban its activities in Russia. A very productive day for American society.
