POCO has unveiled two new phones: the POCO F5 and the POCO F5 Pro. According to the brand, they are specially designed for gamers, tech enthusiasts and people who like to take pictures. The F5 is aimed at gamers, where the POCO F5 Pro is somewhat broader in terms of use.
POCO F5 Pro
The POCO F5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and has a WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. The screen has a hefty brightness of 1400 nits and offers 68 billion colors. The device is cooled using LiquidCool technology 2.0 and additionally offers frame stabilization (FEAS 2.2). This should improve the battery life of the phone. And that battery is quite large: 5,160 mAh. With the 30W wireless charger you can charge the device to 50 percent in half an hour. If you want it a little faster, you can use the 67W turbo charging technology to get that done in fifteen minutes.
In terms of cameras, the F5 Pro has support for 8K video recording and has OIS and EIS video stability built in. The device has a 64-megapixel wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. At the front you will find a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
POCO F5
The POCO F5 offers more processing power for gamers with its processor: it has a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. POCO has the scoop with this, because no phones have yet been released with this processor. LiquidCool Technology 2.0 has also been used here, because heat dissipation is especially important when gaming. The screen is a 6.67 inch 120 Hz Flow AMOLED screen.
POCO F5 has a 64-megapixel main camera and the speed of setting when shooting would be considerably faster due to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. In addition, there is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens, plus a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Here too it is possible to make 4K video recordings with OIS and EIS. Charging is possible with 67W within an hour: the device needs 50 minutes to charge from 0 to 100 percent.
