Huawei has announced its latest smartwatch for the Dutch market. It is the versatile Huawei Watch GT 3, which is equipped with many possibilities in the field of tracking your fitness, activities and health.

The Huawei Watch GT 3 may not be very new to you. That could be right. The smartwatch has already been announced for other markets. Now there is good news for the Dutch; the smartwatch can now be bought in our country. The watch is equipped with HarmonyOS 2.1 and is available in two sizes; 46mm and 42mm. Huawei indicates that the new model is improved, more powerful and more user-friendly. There’s a fashionable look, a new interface design, accurate health and fitness monitoring thanks to TruSeenTM 5.0+ and a 14-day battery life for the 46mm model. This comes with the variant with a clock of 42 mm on 7 days.
The 46mm model
The 42mm model has a 1.32 inch AMOLED screen, the 46mm model has a 1.43 inch screen. The 42mm model is also available in gold. You can also choose from the colors Black and Steel. The housing is made of stainless steel, the back is made of plastic. On the side are a knob and a crown that can be rotated. Finger movements must be recognized with high precision, Huawei promises. Furthermore, the Always On Display can remain active on the screen, so that you always have all information within reach.

Huawei provides the following explanation about the improved health monitoring and scientific training;
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 features an all-new HUAWEI TruSeenTM 5.0+ heart rate monitoring technology, which uses eight photodiodes in a circular layout, two sets of light sources, 8-in-1 LED lens light-emitting chips, multi-channel for receiving light signal and curved design to provide better light penetration, lower power consumption and more comfortable wearing experience. The Dual-Band Five-System GNSS positioning also gives users a more accurate geographic location.
With the all-new PPG 5.0 module, the accuracy of the heart rate measurement has been drastically improved compared to the previous generation. The GT 3 can perfectly keep up with the data even with rapid changes in heart rate such as sprinting, swimming in the pool and jumping rope. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 also provides continuous, real-time and accurate SpO2, sleep, stress and menstrual cycle monitoring functions for comprehensive health management.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 is a personal trainer for the wrist. It records and analyzes the user’s training data based on the user’s current athletic ability level and goals. Then it adjusts the training intensity and gradually increases the training volume to steadily improve the athletic ability.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 also comes with an enhanced workout monitoring function, which provides more than 100 workout modes, including 18 professional workout modes, 12 outdoor workouts (running, hiking, mountaineering, hiking, cycling, open water swimming, triathlon, skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and golf) and 6 indoor workouts (walking, running, cycling, swimming in the pool, free training, cross trainer and rowing machine).
