Everyone wants to see this new series now
Who currently dominates the streaming charts? The answer might surprise you, because Netflix isn’t. On the other hand, the “underdog” of the scene lands a new series hit with Apple TV+.
Apple TV+ may not have as many new series and films on offer as Netflix and Co., but the little content is worth it. In the USA a new series from the iPhone manufacturer is now storming to the top of the streaming charts (Source: reelgood via 9to5Mac).
“Silo” on Apple TV +: Netflix has to plug in
According to this, the dystopian science fiction series “Silo” took first place. It has been running since May 5th and could now for the first time Crown of the most popular streaming series collect (watch on Apple TV+). Another hit series from the Apple TV+ portfolio had to admit defeat with “Ted Lasso”. The likeable football coach can be happy about second place.
And industry leader Netflix? In the mixed top 10 (series and films), Netflix only ranked 6th with the film “Mother”. In terms of series, Netflix is even less popular, with the new series “XO, Kitty” alone in 7th place. Apple, on the other hand As already mentioned, occupies the first two places.
A huge success for Apple extremely important for further growth is. It’s hit shows like “Ted Lasso” or now “Silo” that attract new customers. They are curious and follow the trend. At least for a free trial subscription, people usually allow themselves to be persuaded.

The picture at Rotten Tomatoes is similarly good – 87 percent from the professional critics, 89 percent from the viewers.
