Just a week without scrubbing dirty faces and children who don’t want to go to bed. Nina goes to Austria for a week every year with friends to enjoy all that après-ski has to offer.

Nina (41): “Every year I go to Austria for a week with a group of friends. We’re going with eight. Sometimes even with ten. We know each other from Amsterdam student life. Most of them are now married, some are already divorced, and we all have children.

To overtake

That week we catch up on everything that doesn’t happen or happens too little during our ‘civil existence’ for the rest of the year. Going out, drinking and yes, flirting with other men. I will never go out in the Netherlands. Sometimes to a birthday party, but not an evening in the disco or late into the night at the pub.
