Elon Musk wants to postpone Twitter case to next year

If it’s up to Elon Musk, the lawsuit with Twitter will take a while.

The so-called early takeover of Elon Musk on Twitter is going very differently than expected. But yes, with a person like Musk it could indeed go either way. He spontaneously withdrew from the takeover on Twitter for $44 billion.

Nice and nice says Twitter, but a clause was included in the negotiations. If Musk does withdraw from the deal, he would have to pay damages. This case is now in court.

Twitter wants the lawsuit to be resolved as soon as possible. No, says Musk in place. He wants a delay. According to Bloomberg, Musk hopes to postpone the case to February next year.

It seems that these two parties will be working together for a while in the coming period. It remains to be seen whether Musk will be right in the delay.
