After taking over Twitter, new owner Elon Musk laid off around half of the workforce. The billionaire has now announced that there will be no further layoffs. Instead, Musk wants to hire new employees and will require proof of work in the future.
The Twitter workforce has shrunk significantly. After new owner Elon Musk laid off around half of the workforce, another 1,000 employees left the company voluntarily. From the original 7,000 employees, only around 2,700 are now left.
