Elon Musk replaces Twitter logo with Dogecoin dog
Dog instead of bird: Anyone who is on Twitter is currently being smiled at by a dog of the Japanese Shiba Inu breed. Responsible for the prank is none other than Elon Musk himself. The “DoGFather”, as he calls himself, has replaced the usual Twitter logo with the blue bird with a dog’s head, which stands for the controversial digital currency Dogecoin.
After the temporary change of logo, the Dogecoin value, which had been in the basement for a long time, skyrocketed by 30 percent at times. The price briefly rose above $0.10 for the first time in months.
The picture change took place without any explanation. Elon Musk only has a tweet with a comic drawing of a Dogecoin dog sitting in a car being controlled by a police officer. The Twitter logo with the bird can be seen in the place of the photo on his driver’s license. “It’s an old photo,” the dog justifies.
Compact with a sleek design – this is the new mini electric car from BYD, which goes by the name Seagull. Due to its slim lines and a spacious interior, the vehicle is perfect for those who travel a lot in the city. With a wheelbase of 2.5 meters and a length of just 3.78 meters, the never-ending search for a parking space should finally come to an end. But that’s not the only highlight of this electric car.
When the vehicle comes onto the market, it should be available for the equivalent of just 9,000 euros. This is mainly because the Seagull is to be offered with sodium-ion batteries that have a capacity of 30 kilowatt hours. These batteries are cheaper to produce than lithium batteries, are less prone to overheating and have a high charging speed.
But there is a catch: At the moment, the electric car with the new battery technology is only planned for the Chinese market.
It’s not often that Ruth Porat, CFO of Google parent Alphabet, turns to her employees. She did so in a memo on Friday — and that boded ill. Google employees must be prepared for “permanent savings”, it says, because the company will start making cuts in the coming month. The benefits for the employees are particularly affected.
For employees who are not engineers, there should no longer be Macbooks, only Chromebooks. Savings will also be made on office materials in the future. And even those who were happy about fitness courses or massages in the past will now be bitterly disappointed, because these offers are also to be subjected to efficiency measures. There is also bad news for the company’s sweet tooth: belts are also being tightened for muffin production for the cafĂ©.
AI images of the Pope in a down jacket that look deceptively real just recently went viral. If something similar happened to pictures of the Chinese President, ruler Xi Jinping would probably not find it funny. For this reason, David Holz, the CEO of the AI image generator Midjourney, has taken precautions and removed the name Xi Jinping from the AI.
So if you search for Xi Jinping, you won’t see any fake pictures of the Chinese President. “We just want to minimize the drama,” Holz said. However, the mid-journey boss caused criticism because the exception does not only apply in China, but for all users.
However, the mid-journey makers did not consider one thing: the AI can be tricked if you enter paraphrases such as “chinese prime minister”.
The remake of “Resident Evil 4” does not seem to please some fans of the game. Many find the game to “woke”. But what does that actually mean? The dictionary explains the term as follows: “to be politically alert and committed to a high degree”. This commitment is primarily aimed at racist, sexist and social discrimination.
The fact that many gamers find the “Resident Evil 4” remake to “woke” means that the game has extremely bad reviews. In it, the gamers complain, for example, that Ashley wears pantyhose and you can no longer see her underwear. You also wait in vain for Leon’s sexist statements in the new game. “For Capcom, being politically correct is more important than making a good game,” reads the comments.
