Elon Musk is launching his own perfume
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has launched his own perfume. A bottle of Burnt Hair, which his company Boring Company sells, costs around $100. The manufacturer also describes the fragrance as the “essence of reprehensible desire”.
Elon Musk sells through his company’s website “Boring Company“ now own perfume. That’s what the billionaire announced via Twitter and announced a short time later that he had already sold 10,000 bottles of “Burnt Hair”. That would correspond to sales of one million US dollars. Musk also tweeted:
With a name like mine, getting into the perfume business was inevitable – why did I resist it for so long anyway?

The Boring Company also refers to the fragrance on its website as the “essence of reprehensible desire”. There, too, denounce descriptions such as: “Like bending over a candle at the dining table, but without all the hard work”. Or:
Step out of the masses! Stand out as you walk through the airport.
Meanwhile, a bottle of Burnt Hair costs $100 and is available to pre-order now. However, the red perfume bottle is not suitable as a reprehensible Christmas present, because delivery is not scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
Burnt Hair or the “essence of reprehensible desire”
Much more is not known about Elon Musk’s perfume. Numerous users previously suspected via social media that it was just a joke. But the perfume seems to actually exist.
This also seems realistic in that the Boring Company, which is actually a tunnel construction and infrastructure company for technologies such as the Hyperloop, has already brought one or the other bizarre product onto the market.
For example, in early 2018, the company sold a flamethrower in the US for $500 each, raising $10 million.
